Chef Porto is an initiative of the Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure. With Chef Porto, they draw attention to the importance of secure and well-functioning business-critical communications. In doing so, they put those responsible within organizations in the spotlight. Flash wholeheartedly supports this initiative and is pleased to read the story of several customers on the Dutch Authority for Digital Infrastructure website

Chef Porto Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen

The park is 24 hectares in size and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors every year. Employees stay connected to each other via two-way radios, so that the safety of visitors and colleagues is guaranteed 24/7. Chef Porto and system administrator John Vogelvanger: “No matter how big or small your company is, make sure you have a Chef Porto.”

In the park, animal enclosures are alternated with matching restaurants, shops, attractions and entertainment. Many people in many work processes use the two-way radio as a means of communication. Wildlands uses two types of two-way radios: traditional two-way radios for fast, mutual communication at attractions and smart two-way radios for the emergency response organization.

Accurate performance thanks to guaranteed connection

The smart devices are connected to the ICT system of the central front office of Wildlands. As a result, the central post immediately sees on a digital map which employees are in the vicinity of an emergency. They can then immediately call them for reinforcements. With the guaranteed connectivity on Odido (previously called T-Mobile) mobile network via PrioCom, communication is secured.

Flash advises, supplies, installs and maintains everything in the field of the two-way radios communication system. According to Vogelvanger, they are a second pair of eyes for him: “I listen to problems that colleagues experience with tow-way radios and then ask Flash to solve the problem. It’s nice to work with the installer.”
