Our history

Flash was founded as a rental company for two-way radios and communication networks. The company quickly grew and in 1999 moved to its current headquarters in Rotterdam, Europoort.

1996

Through the acquisition of RZ Telecom and the activities of Airsafety, Flash significantly strengthens its market position. Flash becomes an official Motorola distributor in NL and BE and obtains the exclusive distribution rights for DAMM TETRA.

2000

Flash strengthens its position with the acquisition of Global Belgium and the establishment of Flash Belgium. In 2011, 2WAY is founded, further expanding the range of services.

2005

With the acquisition of Cuna, Flash evolves into a full-fledged System Integrator. 2WAY is expanded with a professional Network Operations Center, and significant investments are made in innovative LTE broadband solutions.

2016

Flash signs an MVNO agreement with T-Mobile for Push-to-Talk-over-Cellular (PtToC) with priority access on the nationwide mobile network. PrioCom is founded and Flash SmartCom is introduced, a unique proposition in Europe.

2018

Flash celebrates its 25th anniversary with three strong brands (2WAY, Flash and PrioCom), over 120 employees and three locations in the Netherlands and Belgium. The company reaches €34 million in revenue and achieves a customer satisfaction score of 8.3.
